Quick question – how much is a cube of butter? I'm Canadian and we tend to measure in cups, though I'm also used to seeing 8oz "sticks" in recipes (butter only comes in 1 and 1/2 lb bricks here). Is a cube half a stick (4oz)?
Ginger, a cube of butter (in the U.S) is 8 Tablespoons, 1/2 a Cup, 4 oz, 1/4 Lb, and apparently it is also equivalent to half a stick.
